Anthony Guépin

Head of Speciality

Anthony spent his younger years in New York, Paris and Brussels.

He joined Anglo Belge in 1999. His first mission for Anglo Belge included a six month stay in London.

He feels right at home wherever he is and as a big fan of different cultures, it is only natural for him to visit his clients worldwide. Personal contact is for Anthony the key to provide the best coverage.

He is also detailed driven, a substantial asset when it comes to ensuring the best coverage to his favourite sector, diamond wholesalers and manufacturers.

Jeremy De Cooman

Customer Care Department

After obtaining a degree in Hotel Management, Jeremy launched his career as an admin support in an Antwerp-based company.

Jeremy further improved his administrative skills in two different leasing companies before joining Anglo Belge in May 2014, where he joined the sales support and account managers team. In addition to being perfectly trilingual, Jeremy also possesses another useful skill when tackling his varied position: optimal stress and priority management.

Jeremy enjoys a varied workload, is a good planner and has a preference for people-oriented companies. The latter is in fact what ultimately led him to opt for Anglo Belge.

Marc Delloye

When Marc joined the company in 1981, he had previously worked for the Lloyd’s Bank International in London as well as for an insurance company specialized in marine coverages. Ten years later, together with Jacques Mercier and Charles de Bergeyck, he founded Anglo Belge special risks centralising the special risk branch the company covered.

It is Marc who has been the key player in the development of the Swiss market. According to Marc, Anglo Belge sells security, and trust is the basis of a successfull broker. That is what he wants to teach the company's future generation, backed up by clients who have been following him since more than thirty years.

Sibylle van Havre - de Bergeyck

Sibylle joined Anglo Belge in 2001 bringing her organizational know how from day one. She gained these skills within a multinational group where she assisted the financial department.

As Financial Manager at Anglo Belge, she is not only responsible for the reporting systems towards the external legal authorities, she also handles the daily internal accounting.

Sibylle is also in charge of the company’s Human Resources and optimalizes the workload between the Administrative team and the Account Managers.

Cédric van den Abeele

Key Account Manager

Cédric was appointed CEO by Anglo Belge shareholders in 2011: a major challenge by any measure. He was tasked to further evolve the company on both commercial development as well as the innovating insurance products' offer. For this he could depend on a faithful list of longterm clients.

Cédric is challenge driven and never looses sight that target objectives can only be met when the projects are supported by a motivated and dynamic team.

Elke Van Meerbergen

Customer Care Department

Elke started working at Anglo Belge in March 2013. Before this, she spent 12 years in the Sales department of a leasing company where she was promoted from Sales Support, Fleet Consultant and then to Pricing Officer.

Elke was looking for a new challenge and thanks to her interest in procedures, structure and client contact, she joined the Administrative team in support of the Account Managers.

Guillaume Ubaghs

Guillaume joined Anglo Belge in 2015. After spending several years as a marine insurance underwriter, he specialised in risk cover for diamond dealers and jewellers.

He gained a deep understanding of these insurance products, but missed the contact with end- clients. His aim was to get closer to the clients that he was tasked with insuring on a daily basis.

Which explains why, after learning that Anglo Belge was recruiting, he decided to take on the challenge. Driven by empathy, Guillaume firmly believes that client protection starts with listening.

Eveline Brys

Head of Customer Care

An Art History graduate from the University of Ghent, Eveline was immediately drawn to the world of luxury jewellery and gemstones. She specialised in this field by following a course in gemmology, ‘Diamond Grading’ in Antwerp and history of art jewellery in Paris.

Her first steps led her to a job in Paris with France’s leading auction house. She then started working freelance for insurance companies as a claims expert.

In December 2014, Eveline joined Anglo Belge, where she immediately felt at home. She is confident in having found the right company, where she will be able to combine her passion for art as well as personal contacts with the company’s niche audiences.

Philippe d’Oultremont

Senior Account Manager

In 2016, Philippe joined Anglo Belge with a significant mission: to develop the Geneva office.

Philippe redirected his career in 2009 and learned the ropes in the diamond trade with a wholesaler in Antwerp. In only eight years, he gained valuable experience with two other important companies, evolving from Sales Representative to Sales Manager Europe for a well-known diamond dealer.

Philippe is a born salesman: he is client-minded and truly passionate about the field, while managing to stand out in all environments and cultures.

Fanny Pernet Ravier

Account & Sales Support

Fanny studied Economics in Switzerland. She launched her career in the finance sector with a self-employed manager, where she started in accounting and gradually evolved via back-office to the trading department. Fanny’s professional relationships introduced her to private wealth management within Family Offices, where she found true fulfilment.

Through several clients she met, Fanny discovers the art world, and has developed a keen interest in modern art.

Fanny is a positive person at all times and in all circumstances, both in terms of her professional life as well as her many sports activities. Her skills are sure to prove an asset to the development of the Geneva office.
